Genealogy
Funeral homes and cemeteries can be an important resource for genealogical research. We will be pleased to help you with your search for ancestors who might have been served at Broadway Mortuary and/or buried at Kensington Gardens. If you complete the downloadable form and return it to us by email or mail, we will provide you with the information we find in our files. In some cases, there may be little information available. Based on what our records show, we may be able to provide you with the following:
- Deceased’s name, as listed in our records
- Date of death
- Place of death
- Date of birth
- Funeral home that handled the arrangements
- Name of family members mentioned in our records
- Relationship of the deceased to the lot owner
- Next of kin or copy of the obituary notice
- Names of relatives buried in the same lot
Such a search can take time. Please allow a couple of weeks for the information to be returned to you. Use additional forms for each person for whom you request information.
