Willma Smith

Willma Charlene Smith, age 100, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 20, 2024. She was born August 16, 1924, on a farm outside Augusta Ks to Lloyd and Berneta (Clark) Lichlyter.

Willma was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence; and daughters, Marsha Gray and Laura Fournet. Willma is survived by her sister, Loleta Knipp of Augusta; sister-in-law, Helen Rackley of Wichita; daughters, Monica Finnegan of Australia and Sue Kelley of Texas; son, Mark McMullen of Wichita; and son-in-law, Kenney Gray of Conway Springs; daughters, Linda Findle, Sharon Black of Texas, Vicky Waluk of Wichita; son, Larry Smith of Texas. She had 19 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren. She was also a second mom to many people throughout her life. 

Family and Friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, August 27th, from 5pm - 7pm, at Broadway Mortuary, 1147 S. Broadway in Wichita KS. Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 28th, at 10am, Richland Cemetery, Douglass, KS.
