Wesley Brown

Brown, Wesley J., 90, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. He was a WWII Veteran who served on the USS McCall Destroyer in the Pacific Theater. He was the Bookkeeper Manager at KGandE’s Wichita Office and later retired as the Office Manager of the company’s Pittsburg Division after 40 years of service. His love for golf was only surpassed by his love for his family and friends. He lived life with integrity and grace and he will forever be missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Bernice Brown and sister Betty. Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Jessie, children, Michael (Janet) Brown and Patty (Les) Mock of Wichita; brother; Don Brown of Chouteau, OK; grandchildren, Christopher (Susannah) Brown of Cottage Grove, MN and Sam and Andrew Mock of Wichita; great-grandson Henry Brown. Memorial Service will be Tuesday, July 7th at 2:00 p.m. at Broadway Mortuary, 1147 S. Broadway with Inurnment and Military Honors following at Wichita Park Cemetery.
