Traci Brown

Traci Denise Brown, who touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege to know her. Born on October 5th, 1962, she lived a life of unwavering dedication and compassion until her passing on December 20th, 2024, at the age of 62. Though words may seem inadequate in truly capturing her essence, we have to celebrate her life's impact and the warmth she shared with those around her.

From a young age, it was clear that Traci had a nurturing spirit, a quality that guided her to a fulfilling career as a nurse. Her commitment to caring for others went far beyond her professional responsibilities. She brought comfort and healing to countless individuals, offering them not just medical care but a sense of hope and human connection. Her sincere dedication exemplified what it truly means to serve others, making her an inspiration to her colleagues and an anchor to those in need.

One of my fondest memories of my mother is the way she took care of me and my brother and MANY other young men and women with an abundance of love and patience. She had this remarkable ability to turn every mundane chore into an act of love, and looking back, it was in those everyday moments that her true character shined the brightest. Whether it was the gentle touch of her hand as she patched up our skinned knees or the soothing sound of her voice as she told us we would be alright and she loved us, each moment was a testament to her enduring warmth and devotion to her family.

Traci is preceded in death by David Williams, Gary Brown, and Nancy McKown.

Traci is survived by her sons and daughter in law Brandon Williams, Eric Williams, and Angelica Lima. Her brother Chad Brown. Her grandchildren Ariana Williams, Alexia Williams, Aaliyah Williams, Yaideth Williams, Amya Williams, Journey Williams, Marciano Williams, Yesenia Williams, Mateo Williams, Rhyinn Williams, Marcello Williams and her great-grandchildren Lee Brandis Williams and Junior Williams.

As we bid farewell, I find myself reflecting on the myriad ways her presence enriched our lives. I will deeply miss our conversations, her wisdom and guidance lighting my path, her infectious laughter, and the comforting sound of her voice. Her presence was a constant source of love and strength, something that remains with all who knew her. In times of joy and times of challenge, she was the pillar we would lean on.

We offer you these words of comfort: "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference." This prayer resonates as we strive to find peace with such an unimaginable loss and gather the strength to continue forward with the values she instilled within us.

Although Traci's physical presence may no longer be, her spirit lives on in every act of kindness we extend, in every gesture of compassion shared, and in the love that binds us all. Let us cherish her memory by embodying the ideals she lived by-selflessness, compassion, and unwavering love.

Thank you

Our mother did not want a service so we will be honoring her wishes. We will have a private family gathering that will be held at a later date.
