Timothy Jacobs

Jacobs, Timothy Scott, 56, was born on February 4, 1959, the youngest of five children born to Pete and Della (Headley) Jacobs died in his home November 2015. Tim was currently a school bus driver for USD 259 First Student and had been a driver for various Wichita freight companies. Tim attended Franklin Elementary, Allison Junior High and graduated from Wichita West High Class of 1977. He enjoyed his family, taking his go-cart to get-togethers for the children to ride, roller skating, fishing, swimming with his granddaughter Samara, playing his guitar, listening to his collection of oldies and Beatles music, flying his model airplanes and running his miniature train setup. Tim will be deeply missed by his wife, Brenda Lea Austin Jacobs; his sisters and brothers, Cathy Wiggins, Pete Jacobs (Janie), Vicki Broderick (Tom) and Rod Jacobs (Vickie); and Brenda’s sons Jason and Kristopher Johnson. Tim is also survived by his grandchildren, Samara and Caleb, many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Memorial Service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at West Side Church of God (casual attire requested) and inurnment will take place at a later date.
