Stuart Kiel , 41, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 of unexpected complications from juvenile diabetes. He struggled most of his life managing that disease. Thankfully, he is at peace now.
He worked as a rigger for staging companies and did some construction over the years. He never married. He loved to fish and hunt and enjoyed cooking, building things, and spending time with family and friends. We will miss his many attributes; specifically, we’ll miss his ability to make others laugh, his tender heart, contagious smile and the skip in his step. He enjoyed being an uncle and really made his nieces and nephews feel known and loved. He leaves a void in many hearts now, as his life was cut short here on earth, but has left a lifetime of very special memories.
He is survived by his mother, Margie (his step-dad, Mark), two sisters, Mary Coster and Karen Jargo (Dean), a brother, Todd Kiel (aka TJ), a nephew, Joe Kowalski, four nieces, Katie Kowalski, Ali Jargo, Kiley Jargo, and Raelynn Kiel, two aunts, Maryann Zimmerman and Maria Coster, an uncle, Gerry Coster, and numerous cousins and second cousins.
Stuart is also survived by his father, William (Bill) Kiel (recently deceased step-mom Pamela); step-brother, Ronald (Ron) Kiel; and additional aunts and uncles, Judy Kiel (Don’s wife), Cristina Kiel (Joe’s wife), Liz and Dennis Wood, DeDe & Mark Elliott, Janet & Gary Drake, Jerry & Kathie Kiel and Dennis & Trena Kiel, along with many Kiel cousins.
A private celebration of life is being held in Phoenix, Arizona.
