Steven Wayne Boyle, lovingly known as "Steve" Boyle, has bid farewell to this world on January 1, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas. Born on August 14, 1951, in Independence, Kansas, he leaves behind a legacy that will continue to brighten our lives.
Steve was the epitome of kindness, with a heart as warm as a crackling fire. His wit was sharper than a firefighter's axe, and his knowledge was as vast as the Kansas plains. As a papa extraordinaire, he brought endless joy to his grandchildren, and as a husband, he set the bar sky-high for all other partners. He was a father beyond compare and a friend so loyal, you could always count on him, no matter what.
Survived by his adoring wife, Vicki Boyle, Steve's memory will be cherished by his daughter, Jordyn Boyle (Garrett), and his son, Steven Boyle Jr (Mateka). His brother, Jake Boyle (Patti), a niece, nephews, friends-turned-family, and all of his grandchild will carry his spirit in their hearts: Kaydence, Isaiah, Ember, Kingsley, BrookLynn, Hayden, Jaden, and Austen.
Steve's career was as fiery as his personality. He fearlessly fought flames as a firefighter for the Wichita Fire Department for 11 blazing years. Later, he soared to new heights at Boeing for 14 years before gracefully retiring and embarking on a self-employed adventure.
To honor Steve's zest for life, a celebration of his journey will take place on Saturday, January 20th, 2024, at the Plum Building in Sedgwick County Park. From 1pm to 5pm, we invite you to join us for a come-and-go event filled with laughter, tears, and memories that will light up the room like a fireworks display.
As we bid farewell to our dear Steve, let us remember him for the laughter he brought, the love he shared, and the countless lives he touched. In his honor, let's keep the flames of joy burning bright, knowing that his spirit will forever dance among us. Share condolences at www.cozine.com. Arrangements by Cozine Memorial Group-Broadway Mortuary.
