Stephen Glasscock

Stephen D. Glasscock, 93, retired Brick Mason, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Steve was born September 1, 1929 in Thompson, Nebraska to Stephan A. and Letha (Riggle) Glasscock. Visitation 5-7:00pm, Monday, Rosary 7:00pm, Monday, Funeral Mass 10:00am, Tuesday all at St. Anne Catholic Church. Burial with military honors will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 70 years, Peggy, 10 brothers and sisters and his son, John. Survivors include his sons, Stephen A., David W. and wife Deborah, Thomas J. and wife, Shawna, Richard L. (Brenda), Gary M. and wife, Cindy and Timothy D. and wife, Cindy and daughter-in-law, Sarah, 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

When we were kids at home, if we would fall and dad saw we were hurting, he would say "Come here and I will pick you up." Until now I never understood what he meant by that. On Wednesday God saw that dad was hurting and God said, "Come to me and I will take you up."
