King, Shirley R., 79, died Thursday, December 10, 2015 as a result of a fall. Shirley was a church organist for many years and received her masters degree in Music for Special Ed. She was employed at the Center For The Improvement of Human Functioning now known as The Riordan Clinic, and also worked for several Ophthalmologists in Wichita. Her current free lance job and her passion was cat sitting and care giving to any cat that needed love. Shirley was fondly known as the neighborhood Cat Lady. She was preceded in death by her parents Dave and Elsie Lochmann and her husband Robert D. King. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer King and her spouse Colleen Didier. Memorial service will be 11:00am, Tuesday, Dec. 15 at Reformation Lutheran Church.
