Ruthann George

Ruthann Marie (Frank) George, 86, passed away January 6th, 2025. Retired teacher in the Wichita Public School District. An alumna of Oklahoma State University, Ruthie also obtained her Masters in Education at Wichita State University and finished 40 hours in straight A's over her Masters Degree rewarding herself with a new car.

86 years young, able to live life and enjoy the coffee of the morning with each and every sunrise. Feeding her fish and the entourage of neighborhood squirrels.

A great teacher and educator, bus and limo driver, spouse, accountant, sister, basketball and volleyball player, daughter, confidant, aunt, baker and cook, cousin, garage sale extraordinaire, in law, doctor and nurse, debater, scheduler, coach, seamstress, mentor, great mother, card player, grandmother, and great-grandmother of five and friend of many. World's best speller as well. Always had the correct structure of a simple sentence, compound sentence, complex sentence or the compound complex sentence.

She wasn't content with just a plain hat, it was a bedazzled, impressive, and somewhat work-life integration of a purple gem of a hat. She was rested and content always satisfied in her best effort of loving God. Always maintaining her clear focus and reading her scripture and short stories from books she enjoyed. We will miss her greatly and remember the kindness of her bright blue eyes.

She was preceded in death by parents, William B. and Anna M. Frank from Morrison, OK; husband Paul E. George; brothers, Loyal D. Frank and Werner L. Frank; and sister Evelyn A. Rogers.

Survivors include children, Don (Antonieta) George, San Antonio, TX, Amy (Wesley) Lumry, Wichita, KS and Dene (Dave) Dexter, Friendswood,TX; grandchildren, Alyssa (Jon) Whitney, Warsaw, IN. Tara (Shaun) Dawson, Hesston, KS. Ryan Novotny, Rowlett, TX. Dane Dexter, Friendswood, TX. and Joice Garcia, San Antonio, TX and great-grandchildren Anna, Caitlin and Griffin Whitney, Owen and Levi Dawson.

Survivors also include the families of Jami (James) Baker, Jodi (Keith) Fletcher, Jan (Gary) Lesh, Mike (Debbie) George, Micki Rogers, Joe (Kay) George, Jeff D. Frank, Pete George, Nancy (Chuck) Murphy, Heidi (Mark) Delsignore, Roland (Kathy) Frank, Tammy Henderson, Kathryn Frank, and Carolyn Frank. Joe (Rochelle) Frank, Shelly Frank, Becky (Richard) Denton, Michelle George, and Terry Don Frank along with many brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws from the George family as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews from the Frank and George families.
