Ruth Barber

Ruth Barber (Stallings), 89, Homemaker and Salvation Army YPSM (Youth Pastor) for over 50 years, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 25, 2017. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, C.W. Barber and grandson, Jerry Barber. Survivors include her children, Jack Barber (Bev) and Janet Carter (Phil); 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Ruth received many awards for her work with the youth during her time with The Salvation Army and loved spending time with her family. Visitation hours will be held from 12pm-8pm, Monday, August 28, at Broadway Mortuary, 1147 S. Broadway. Funeral Services, 10:30 am, Tuesday, August 29, at The Salvation Army Wichita Citadel, 1739 S.
