Ruben Fernandez

Ruben Fernandez, 51, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023, with his family by his side. Ruben was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. He met his wife, Memo, at Southwestern Assemblies of God College. They married and moved to Wichita, KS where they raised four beautiful children. Ruben loved the ocean, fishing, BBQing, and everything family. He also enjoyed the San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Cowboys. Ruben is survived by his wife, Delfina Fernandez; children, Ruben Isaac Fernandez, Kristina Thurman (Dakota), Elizabeth Fernandez, and Gabriel Fernandez; father, Ramiro Fernandez; brother, Ramiro Fernandez, Jr; sister, Stella Moreno; and grandchildren, Phoenix and baby Thurman. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carmen Fernandez; brother, Vincent Fernandez; grandfather Siverio Fernandez and grandmother, Margarita Fernandez.
