Robert Ray Lemon, 58, beloved father, brother, and friend passed away on August 28, 2015 after a hard fought battle with cancer, leaving many behind who loved him. Robert was a free spirit who lived life on his own terms. A father of five children, being a Dad was his greatest joy in life. Spending time with his children and family meant the world to him. Robert loved the freedom of the open road. He spent most of his life working as a long haul truck driver, traveling through all of the lower 48 States. His beloved dog Mick traveled along with him, his constant companion. He would stop and visit friends and family along the road whenever he got the chance. Some of his favorite things were Sunday beers while watching Nascar, buffet dinners, the night sky, back yard fires, shooting pool and swimming. He loved rock and roll music. He would spend hours listening to his favorite band, Pink Floyd. Robert was a hard worker and had a big heart. He helped others any way he could and was not one to judge. He will be missed by so many. Proceeded in death by his parents: Kenneth Lemon and Helen Lemon, Brother Kenneth (Butch) Lemon, Mick-Dad’s beloved dog child. Survived by siblings Gwen (Kenny) Cole, Michael (Paula) Lemon, John Lemon, (Lula Lemon). Children: April (Eddie Kulick) Lemon, Meisha (Chris Davis) Lemon, Christopher (Diedre) Lemon, Kyla (Nathan) Anderson, Kelsey (Adam) Dougherty. Grandchildren: Victoria, Isabel, Kaylee Mae, Savanna and Baby boy Anderson. Nieces, nephews, friends, children and grandchildren.
