Raymond Poulson

August 7, 1930 — November 4, 2021

Raymond C. Poulson, aged 91, died November 4, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, PA., Ray graduated from Frankfort High School and then Philadelphia Main Bible Institute. He retired from the United States Air Force in January 31, 1973.

Active in many service organizations, Ray was best known for his service to Jesus through The Salvation Army as Sergeant Major. He held this position in various states and countries for more than 50 years.

Ray is survived by his children: Vicki (Kjell) Steinsland, and Ray (Joy) Poulson; 7 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his beloved wife Annette, son James Poulson, adopted son James Sadler, granddaughter Karen, and one great grandson.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 10:30 am, Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at The Salvation Army, 1739 S. Elpyco St, Wichita, KS.

Ray leaves a legacy of faith, family, love of country, and service to others.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to The Salvation Army, 1739 S. Elpyco St, Wichita, KS, 67218.
