Paul George

George, Paul Elias, 81, Art Teacher for 30 years in the Wichita Public School District retiring in 1992, US Navy Veteran, and OSU and WSU Alumus, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016. Memorial services 4:00 pm, Thursday, in The Chapel at First United Methodist Chuch, Wichita, KS, followed by a celebration and reception with friends and family from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, also at the church. Final resting place will be in the George Family Cemetery, Eighty Four, PA. He was preceded in death by parents, Elias and Martha George from Syria and brothers, Benjamin, David and Anthony George. Survivors include his wife, Ruthann “Ruthie”; children, Don (Antonieta), San Antonio, TX, Amy (Wesley) Lumry, Wichita, KS and Dene (Dave) Dexter, Luling, LA; grandchildren, Alyssa (Jon) Whitney, Warsaw, IN, Tara Novotny (Shaun Dawson) and Ryan Novotny, Wichita, KS and Dane Dexter, Luling, LA; brothers, Elias (Martha) George, Kenneth George, John (Marian) George, Pete (Melba) George, Joe (Kay) George, Mike (Debbie) George, Tony (Suzanne) George, William George and Bob (Debbie) George; sisters, Helen George and Nancy (Chuck) Murphy; brother-in-law, Loyal (Carolyn) Frank; sister-in-law, Gladys George and numerous nieces and nephews.
