Patricia Joanne (Welsh) Baldwin

Patricia was born in LeSueur, Minnesota on March 27, 1946, and passed into the afterlife on October 3, 2023. Pat was a beloved sister with seven siblings and known affectionately by her family members as Patti, Patsy, Pat, and Puddles. She lived most of her life in Wichita, Kansas, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Tulsa, Oklahoma. A gifted oil painter and dog lover, Patti was meticulous in her appearance and loved to dress up for holidays. She was devoted to her Catholic faith and was a loving and kind person with a sweet disposition. Her favorite pastimes in her retirement years were playing solitaire, watching classic western movies, and guessing the answers on TV game shows. We will miss her. However, Patsy’s surviving siblings, Margie Edwards, Jill Carlson, Jack Funston (Darlene) Jenny McGregor (Don), Cammie Funston (Ned), and Robert Welsh (Margie), along with her granddaughter Ashley Stewart, and a multitude of in-laws, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends, are happy to know that our Pat is released from her long struggle with illness. It is our joy that Patsy is now reunited with her husband, Gene Baldwin, son, Darren Stewart, parents Bob and Geri Welsh, sister, Susan Conley, and nephew, Zach Funston. All of these departed souls paved Patricia’s entrance into the heavenly kingdom.

Requiem Mass will be held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (Saint Mary’s) at 430 North Broadway, Wichita, Kansas, on Friday, October 13, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.
