Patricia A. Bradley

Patricia Alene Bradley, was born to Allen and Madeline Johnson on October 5, 1943 in Wichita Kansas, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2024. Wichita. Kansas.

Pat will be remembered by many in special ways that will always include her beautiful smile, her outgoing personality, and her caring heart.

Pat spent her childhood in Wichita, attending Wichita schools, and graduating from South High School in 1961.

A hard worker both in and outside the home, Pat worked as a hospital aide, waitress, Seasonal Associate at David’s, Office Manager for Royal Realty, and as a Pharmacy Technician for Cumming’s Pharmacy. At home she loved to work outdoors. She mowed her own lawn, and had the most beautiful yard and garden in the neighborhood. The squirrels and the birds that would visit daily would agree, along with her beloved dogs that would share the yard.

Just a step from her back yard door was Pat’s kitchen table. Oh if those tables could talk. She shared not only the best home cooking in the world on those tables, but also countless years of family memories and endearing friendships. Everyday at her table there would be coffee, and conversation. Most full of laughter, and even a few tears as Pat would be the one family member or friend that they would always go to for anything and everything.

Pat held a special place in so many hearts and there is no doubt that she will be remembered first and foremost as selfless. She spent years ensuring her husband, parents, close family, and friends were well cared for no matter the time involved. Pat always opened her door and her heart to more people than many of us will ever know.

It cannot be left unsaid that Pat loved her family fiercely. From her parents to her great-grandchildren, and all the other family in-between, they were her most cherished gift. The love she showered on all made her the favorite sister, cousin, Aunt Pat and Grandma Bradley.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Allen and Madeline, sisters, Jeanne, Joyce, and MaryAnn. Brothers Tommy, and twin brother Michael. Husbands, James Baker and Ron Bradley.

Others that will carry on her memory include her children, Sheryl Baker, Sean Baker, Michael (Luejeta) Shanks, Jill Wolf, Sterling (Patty) Bradley, Ronalyn (Robert) Klotz and Connie (Gaylen) Reynolds.
