Nancy Williams

Williams, Nancy Ruth (Nichols) Williams, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, went to Heaven from her home in Haysville, Kansas on Thursday, August 26th, 2021. She was born to Bill and Ina Nichols on October 24th, 1946, in Hominy, Oklahoma. With a passion for people, she was a retired nurse with a large part of her long career devoted to the elderly. She was also a current para employee of the Derby school district and worked with special needs children. Her greatest passion lay in music, particularly the piano, and she immensely enjoyed teaching children how to play. She enjoyed traveling with her family, working with children in church, square dancing with her husband, and anything to do with her grandchildren. She married her husband, Jimmy Dean Williams, on March 29th, 1975, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Dean Williams, Jr. and Robert Williams; and 8 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alexandria, Johnathan, Benjamin, Thomas, Peter, Blake, and Harley. "Nana, we love you!" She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Dean Williams; her parents Bill and Ina Nichols; and her sister, Patsy Braswell. A graveside rites service will be held at the Powell Cemetery Pavilion in Hominy Oklahoma, with service dates pending.
