Michael Steiner

Michael Carl Steiner Sr, 74, Retired Sedgwick County maintenance employee and construction business owner, loving husband, father, papa and friend to all passed away September 24th, 2022. Born April 1st,1948 in Watseka, Illinois to Carl S. and Mary M. (Dunn) Steiner. A proud United States Navy veteran who served his country on the USS Renshaw. His service included the Vietman War in which he received multiple Letters of Commendation as well as The Presidental Unit Citation for Extraordinary Heroism. Michael was proceeded in death by his parents and brothers James (Donna) and Jeffrey, father and mother-in-law Bob D. and Agnes M. Dry Sr., brother and sister-in-law Bob D and Debbie Dry Jr.  Michael is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lillie 'Marlene' Steiner, son Michael Jr (Dwan), daughter Sheilah (Michael Jr), grandchildren Briana (Jamez), Grant (Celia), Abbie (Cody), Carley (Josh), Alyssa (Leon), great-granddaughters McKenna and Lei'Ana, sister Patricia (Rodney), brother Steve (Tyra), sister in law Hope Steiner as well as many nieces and nephews. Michael will be sorely missed by all, including his errand running side kick and best canine friend, Louie.
