Mathilda “Tillie” Luallen. Maiden name Prochaska.

Grandma Tillie 98, passed away in her sleep on Sept 5, 2024, in Wichita, KS. She was home with her two sons by her side.

Tillie was born November 15, 1925, in Renfrow, OK. She moved to Caldwell, KS with her grandmother Anna when she was 5 years old and graduated from High school there. While working in a local restaurant she met the love of her life, Don Luallen. They married on July 29th, 1944. She had three sons.

Tillie worked several jobs including meat packer, nurses aid, and real estate before working for Boeing and retiring in 1992.

She enjoyed making and decorating cakes for anyone who needed a cake, and she became quite popular for her way of decorating. She must have made hundreds.

Most of all Tillie should be remembered as the kindest lady we ever knew. She helped everyone who needed help. Be it food, a warm bed for your head, driving people around, she was always the one you knew you could count on. A lot of people have felt this lady’s love throughout their lives. Beautiful inside and out.

She is survived by two sons, Tom Luallen and his girlfriend Cheri Kash and Rob Luallen and his wife Karla. She also has three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Grandson Dustin Luallen, wife Niki, great-grandchildren Colbin, Kyler and Emie. Grandson Nick Luallen, wife Jamie, great-grandchildren Haley (husband Ben), Alivia, Theron and Kinsley. Grandson Shane Luallen, great-granddaughter Charlee Robinson and great-great-grandchild Iyrie Dacy.

She is reunited in death with her husband Don Luallen, her son Ron Luallen and grandson Brandon Luallen.
