Marjorie Hungate

Marge Hungate, 94, died peacefully on March 20, 2018.

Marge was born in Protection, Kansas on April 2, 1923. She lived most of her life in Wichita, Kansas and graduated from Wesley Nursing School in 1944. She served as an R.N. before her children were born and then again when they were older. Marge married Jerry Hungate on June 20, 1945

Marge was devoted to her church, Martinson Avenue Christian. She was also active with Meals on Wheels and the Wesley Alumni Association. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry and brother Wayne Van Wey. She is survived by her sister, Joyce Breene of San Antonio, Texas, brother Bill Van Wey (Irene) of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, children Galen Hungate (Tara), Tucson, Arizona, and Gerrie L. Fausett (Larry) Santa Barbara, California. Her grandchildren include: Amber Hungate, Courtney Brimm (Chad), Marisa Castaneda and Cameron Fausett. Her great grandchildren include: Tyler Hidalgo, Aidan McCabe and Calen Brimm.

Services are planned for June 20 2018, at 1:00 at Broadway Mortuary with internment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
