M. Curfman

Curfman, M. Maxine, 84, retired realtor, died April 7, 2016. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, April 16, at Sunnydale Park Cemetery in Valley Center. Maxine was born on May 2, 1931 in Higginsville, MO to Max and Thelma Ann Mead. She graduated from McPherson High School and later moved to Wichita. She was a charter member of the Candle Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Curfman; son, Kelly G. Curfman; brother, Billy Gene Mead and brother-in-law, Lavern A. Eck. Maxine is survived by her sister, Emma Jean Mead Eck of London, Ontario, Canada; nephew, Larry Eck of Edmond, OK and nieces, Leslie Henderson of Lambeth, Ontario, Canada and Laurie Begis of Little Elm, TX.
