Lowndes Young

Young, Lowndes H. “John”, 96, born in Commerce, Oklahoma on May 9th, 1918, went to be with his Lord and Savior April 27, 2015. A retired Boeing planning/cost estimator, Lowndes served in the US Navy during WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Anna Young, his wife of 47 years, Dorothy Young, his son Jerald Young, brothers Woodrow and Willard Young, and sisters, Gladys Lollar and Bobby Armstrong. Lowndes is survived by sisters Ruth Cole and Melvadean Deaton, sons Robert Young, Rodney and Colleen Young and Troy and Tammy Young, all of Wichita; grandchildren, Brett and Kara Young, Timothy and Lori Trimailo, Alex Young, Brandon and Brenna Young, Derek Young, Damon Young, Jared Young, Seth Young, Nicolas Young and Zachary Young; great-grandchildren, Stella Young, John Robert Young, Kellen Trimailo, and Bailey Trimailo. Visitation 6-8:00pm, Tuesday, May 5th at Broadway Mortuary. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 7th at 10:00am at Cornerstone Bible Church, 2535 N.
