Linda Pagel

March 10, 1920 — December 17, 2015

Linda V. Shattuck Pagel, Retired Westar meter department and former KGandE Key-punch operator, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015. Visitation 12:00 – 1:00pm, Saturday, Funeral Service 1:00pm Saturday, both at Broadway Mortuary. She is preceded in death by her parents, W.I.C. “Clyde” Stewart and Edith V. Swander-Stewart, both of Sitllwater, OK and one infant child, William Shattuck, II; first husband, William A. Shattuck and second husband, Carl A. Pagel; and siblings, Ross (Fern) Stewart, Aline, OK, James Stewart, Wichita, Dorothy (Bill) Poague, Whitewater, KS, Florence (Marvin) Gates, Stillwater, OK and Melva (Dewey) Rourke, Midwest City, OK. She is survived by her children Mark (Karen) Shattuck, Tamara Shattuck and step-son Stephen Pagel, all of Wichita; sister-in-law, Ruth Stewart, Wichita; and grandchildren, Courtney (George) Turner, William A. Shattuck, III, Meagan Sevier (Joshua), Brian Shattuck, Crystal Shattuck, great-grandson, Brooks Rawleigh, and numerous nieces and nephews. Linda was an active member of Glenn Park Christian Church and the Good Sam Camping Club with Carl Pagel. She enjoyed fishing and camping and was always ready for a card game.
