Lila Araiza

Lila F. "Rachel" Araiza, died Jan. 28, 2019. She was born June 18, 1929 to Rosendo & Florence Valdez Raigoza in Wichita. She married Freddie E. Araiza Sept. 22, 1947, they were married 49 1/2 years. They had 6 kids. She was a retired meat wrapper. She also was a cook in a mexican restaurant. Everyone loved her cooking. She liked her mexican music and to go dancing with her husband. At the mexican dances they were the first ones on the dance floor and the last ones off. She is survived by her children, Linda (Tony) Rangel of Wichita, Johnny (Anita) Araiza of Wichita, Alfred (Teresa) Araiza of Wichita, Vanessa (Gary) Logsdon of Maize, Reuben (Joanne) Araiza of Wichita and Leonard Araiza of Wichita. 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Rose Brown, Frances Modesto, Jeanie Siebien, Ross and Richard Raigoza. She was preceded in death by her husband Freddie E. Araiza, her parents, siblings, Charles, Rayaldo, Robert Raigoza, Nancy Ragscale and Florence Hopper. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
