Larry had a successful career in the Aviation Industry, where he supported reputable companies such as Boeing, LearJet, and Cessna. His work ethic and expertise led him to a significant role at Farm Credit Bank, where he managed the company’s Computer Data Processing and Programming efforts until his retirement. Education was greatly valued in Larry’s life; he earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California in Computer Data Processing and Programming Services. Later, he pursued a bachelor’s degree in theology as part of the Parish Ministry Associates Program, completing his Clinical Pastoral Education at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. Beyond his professional and educational accomplishments, Larry cherished spending the holidays with family and friends, creating memories filled with laughter and joy. He also had a penchant for adventure, often cruising the roads in his beloved 1975 red Chevy Corvette, embodying a spirit of freedom that defined his life.

Larry served with honor in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954 as part of the 7th Medical Battalion, 7th Infantry Division during the Korean War, achieving the rank of Sergeant. His service was recognized with multiple honors, including the United Nations Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal, showcasing his resilience and commitment.
