Kathy Greene

Kathleen “Kathy” Mae Greene, 74, went home to be with her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, October 28, 2024. Visitation with family will be from 6-8pm, Friday, November 8, at Wichita Bible Church. Funeral service will be at 10am, Saturday, November 9, also at Wichita Bible Church. Graveside at Lakeview Cemetery will follow the funeral service. Kathy is preceded in death by parents, Walter and Jackie Larson, and son-in-law, Charles Heck. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Tom Greene; children, Erik (Roxanne) Greene, Caleb Greene, Seth Greene, and Andrea Heck; siblings, Harry (Debbie) Evans, Ruth (Alex) Senf, and Dana Larson; sister-in-law, Delane Duvall; grandchildren, Chase (Zoe) Greene, Dante Greene, Tori Greene, Noah Greene, Jackson Heck, Josiah Heck, and Ethan Heck; great-grandchildren, Keontae Greene, Aurora Greene, and Ezra Greene. Kathy had a deep and lasting impact on many people both within and without the church. Her passions were daily studying the Scriptures, praying for the salvation of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, always meeting the needs of her family, trying new recipes, discipling and counseling women, and ministering the Word of God to those who were struggling with life’s issues. She will be greatly missed. A memorial in her name has been established with Wichita Bible Church.
