Justin David Brown was born on December 29th, 1982 in Amarillo, Texas to David and Jennifer Brown. As the son of a military father, Justin lived in California, Iowa, and Missouri. Justin received his High School education from Jefferson City High School in Jefferson City, Missouri. He then attended college in Amarillo, Texas. Justin returned to Jefferson City, Missouri, where he met the love of his life, Jeanna Brown. Justin and Jeanna were engaged in 2004, and married May 26th, 2005. Justin joined the United States Army as an Air Traffic Controller and graduated basic training in Fort Benning, Georgia. Justin graduated Advanced Individual Training (AIT) in Fort Rucker, Alabama. Upon graduation, Justin received deployment orders to Camp Humphreys, South Korea, where he served as an Air Traffic Controller. After completing his deployment in South Korea, Justin received orders to Fort Drum, New York, where he completed his service. Justin was awarded the “National Defense Service Medal,” “Korea Defense Service Medal,” “Army Service Ribbon,” and the “Basic Aviation Badge.” Justin is known for his humor and personality. He enjoyed making others laugh, and is known as a dedicated loving husband and father. Justin always put his family before himself, and opened his heart to those in need. Justin’s hobbies include online gaming, reading Sci-Fi novels, and Tom Clancy series. Justin also enjoyed playing Magic: The Gathering, game nights with friends, listening to music, and sharing online memes with friends and family. Justin, 39, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022. The funeral service is 2:30 pm, Saturday, January 8 at Epic Church. Visitation with the family will be 30 minutes prior to the service. Justin is preceded in death by his mother, Jennifer Brown. He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Jeanna L. Brown and their two children, Amanda Grace Brown, age 11, and David William Brown, age 4; father, David Brown; siblings, Joshua Brown and Megan Brown; maternal grandparents Ronald and Bonnie Jannings; and half-siblings Andrew Anderson and Morgan Anderson. Justin is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The Brown Memorial fund has been established in the care of Epic Church, where Justin was a member. Funds will be given to an organization of the family's choosing.
