Joe Novacek

Novacek, Joe F. Age 72, beloved husband, dad, and grandpa, passed away on
September 19, 2015. He was born January 28, 1943, in Wichita, KS to the late Joe
Novacek and Lillian “Pat” Ruhter (Novacek). Joe graduated from East High School
in 1961. He was the owner and operator of Little Joe’s Motor Company, and
retired after owning Novacek Insurance Agency for over 35 years. He enjoyed
woodworking, cooking, gardening, animals, and most of all, spending time with
family. He is survived by his wife, Barbara of Wichita; two sons and their
wives, Joe and Kimberly Novacek of Wichita, Jason and Karla Novacek of Derby;
daughter, Julia Novacek of Wichita; five grandchildren, Jodi, Ashley, Abbi,
Jacob, and Jenna; and five great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his
family and friends, especially for his great sense of humor, orneriness, laugh,
and smile. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2015, at Broadway
