Jamie Findley Martin

Martin, Jamie Lee (McCurry) Findley , 42, loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend died June 7, 2018. Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, June 13, at Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Jamie was born on May 24, 1976 in Wichita, Kansas to Howard and Pat McCurry. She graduated from Wichita Southeast in 1994 and attended Kansas State University for one semester before falling in love with Scott Findley.  She moved home to attend Wichita State University with Scott where she graduated with a degree in accounting. Scott and Jamie married and had two beautiful boys, Chase McQuaid and Connor Michael.  Tragically, she lost Scott in November of 2001.  Jamie then married Brian Martin and had two more beautiful children, Grace Lee and Lawrence Patrick.  Though the marriage did not work out, they shared a love for their beautiful children. Jamie loved her children and family. Throughout her life, Jamie bravely, but unsuccessfully fought the grips of addiction. She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott Findley. Survivors include her children, Chase Findley, Connor Findley, Gracie Martin and Larry Martin, and their father, Brian Martin; parents, Howard and Pat McCurry; brothers, Spence McCurry and Frank (Debbie) McCurry; sister, Kelly (Casey) Cotton and nephews and niece, James Cotton, Charles E. Cotton and John Cotton, Tyler and Courtney McCurry. A memorial has been established with Eastminster Presbyterian Church to provide scholarships for kids attending Westminster Woods Camp.
