Irene R. Oliver

Irene Oliver was born on February 10, 1928 to the union of Willie Oliver and Melvinne Marlow in Ashburn, GA. She resided in Jersey City, NJ before relocating to Wichita,KS. Ms Irene accepted Christ at an early age. Her spiritual foundation, strength, and wisdom was the glue to her family. Ms Irene loved and was the protector of everyone and she welcomed all. She seldomly said no, always found a way to help and made things possible. She loved fishing, cooking, caring for people, and sharing stories but if she didn't like care for you, you would definitely know it and she had no problem putting you in your place. Ms Irene, our Angel went to be with God on Wednesday November 27th, 2024. 

Our Angel leaves behind to cherish her memory: Her children Mary Timmons, Ola McCrae (Ulysses McCrae), Willie “Buddy” Sutton (Vanessa Sutton), Sarah Oliver, and Pamela Oliver. Her siblings Bessie Davis, and Minnie Sheffield. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family to include the Gaines and Rivers families.
