Harriette Edith Kahmeyer 95 passed away Friday February 21 2025. She was born December 22, 1929 on the farm in Barber county. One of three daughters of Harry and Bonnie Bowers Randolph. She graduated from high school in Medicine Lodge Kansas. She married Dale Kahmeyer in Aug 29, 1948. Harriette made a home for Dale and their three boys living in various states including California, Louisiana, Washington and Kansas. She began her working career in 1969 as a key punch operator for NationWide trailers and then Ritchie Brothers in Wichita. She retired from Ritchie brothers in 1985. In her retirement years she enjoyed time with her grandchildren, traveling, camping, and playing dominoes.
Harriette is preceded in death by her loving husband, Dale Kahmeyer; parents, Harry and Bonnie Randolph; son, Randy Kahmeyer; and sister, Mary Lou Heuer.
She is survived by sons, Alan Kahmeyer (Tonya) Derby, Ks and Ron Kahmeyer (Cindy) Topeka, Ks. ; sister Norma Jean McComb Hutchinson KS. ; 5 grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great -grandchild.
Visitation with family will be from 5:00-7:00pm, Thursday, February 27, at Broadway Mortuary in Wichita, Kansas. Funeral service celebrating Harriette's life will be at 11:00am, Friday, February 28, at St. John Lutheran Church in Nashville, Kansas. Burial will be at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Nashville, and will immediately follow the funeral service.
