George Anderson, Jr.

George O. Anderson, Jr., 79, retired photographer for the Wichita Police Department, died Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 20 at Broadway Mortuary. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Broadway Mortuary. Burial will follow at White Chapel. George served the Wichita Police Department for over 40 years, including work on the BTK cases and others. He was a man of strong faith and those who knew him will rest easy knowing he's reached his permanent home in heaven! George is preceded in death by his parents, George and Jennetta Anderson of Wichita. He is survived by his daughter Kristi (Jim) Black and grandchildren, Matthew Barker, Jenna Barker, and Jimmie Black, III, all of Wichita.
