Ellen Jessup

Ellen Mae Jessup, 96, passed away on Thursday, October 10th, 2018. She was born to the late James Decker and Emma Harrison Decker on October 31st, 1921. Ellen lived a long and happy life, given enough time to enjoy 3 careers; homemaker and mother to two sons, office manager for the Morris Civic Auditorium in South Bend Indiana, and a 25 year “retirement” in which she and her late husband Floyd Jessup developed the family farmland into a working farm. She also taught herself art, and was able to capture much of the farm life in watercolors. Ellen was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Floyd Jessup. She was also predeceased by her son Wallace Jessup, and her two sisters, Allie Marie Rickel and Gladys Dragan. Ellen is survived by her son Gregory Jessup and his wife Vicki. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Mary Goewey, Katie Greene, and Harrison Jessup.
