Eleanor "Elly" Meyer

Eleanor "Elly" L. Meyer, 92, Homemaker, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Elly was born February 27, 1931 in Wichita, KS to Ernest and Carla Munzinger, both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Chester W. Meyer and her son, David Meyer. Survivors include her son, John Meyer and wife Marge; daughters, Linda Clary and husband Steve, Susan Opliger and husband Rod,  Karen Phillips, Tricia Haefele, Nancy Bell and husband Steve; brother, Richard Munzinger; 14 grandchildren, Lisa and Ryan Sandell, Ryan and Lauren Clary, Matt and Ashley Opliger, Megan Opliger, John Phillips III, Michael Phillips, Nathan Meyer, Alex Meyer, Kelly Meyer, Alaina Meyer, Justin Haefele, Tyler Haefele, Chris Haefele, Emily Bell and 7 great-grandchildren. Eleanor was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wichita, KS. She enjoyed bowling, traveling and spending time with her family.
