Douglas Jackson

Douglas Earl Jackson, 68, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024. Doug was a proud United States Navy veteran who served 8 years as a sonar tech aboard the USS Jouett and the USS Tattnall. In his free time, Doug enjoyed surfing, scuba diving, bike riding, building, flying model rockets and planes, fishing, and listening to good music. Open viewing will be from 1-5pm on Friday, February 2, at Broadway Mortuary. Graveside service will be at 1:00pm, at Calvary Cemetery on Saturday, February 3. Doug is preceded in death by his loving wife, Rosalie Jackson; parents, Jerry and Patricia Jackson; and brother, David Jackson. He is survived by son, Andrew Jackson; step-daughters, Rosa (James) Taylor, and Anna Brown; sister, Connie Greenwell; grandchildren, Omari and Aleeya Brown; and bestfriend, Irene Flores.
