Donna G. Thorton, 89, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, July 18, at Broadway Mortuary, 1147 S. Broadway. Urn burial will follow at White Chapel Cemetery-Wichita. Donna was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Merle Thorton; her parents, Elvin and Nyla Upshaw; and one sister, Claudia Lee. She is survived by her sons, Brad Thorton (Lisa) and Chris Thorton (Karla); four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Donna enjoyed baking, music, hosting family and friends, and looking for opportunities to help people out whenever possible. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
