George, Dick (Richard H.) Tee time in heaven was at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, and Dick was there. An evening service will be held at 7:00pm, Friday, with funeral mass at 11:00am, Saturday, both at St. Jude Catholic Church. Burial will follow at 3:00 pm, Saturday, at St. Mary’s Aleppo Cemetery, 25741 W 13th St N, Garden Plain, KS. Dick was an East High graduate and owner of The Pawn Shop from 1982-2008. Service to the Wichita community was an integral part of his life. The eternal optimist, Dick was an active member of North Wichita Optimist Club, Wichita Wagonmasters, Communities in Schools, Wichita Crime Commission and he was a founding member of the Kansas Delta Chapter of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. Dick was not only a WSU alumA�a�A�he is the ultimate Shocker supporter! Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Helen; son, Jeffrey and brothers, Doug and David. He is survived by his wife, Jane; sons, Greg George, Tim (Terry) George and Tony (Lindsay) George; daughter, Emily Ringer; stepson, Greg (Katie) Pavlyak; stepdaughters, Julie (Jamie) Hoff and Laura (Jeff) Ensey; and grandchildren, Kate, Erica, Suzanne, Kaitlyn, Lincoln, Leia, Jacob, Sara, Maya, Irene, Daisy, Zeke and Elizabeth.
