David Drew Elmore, 60, great husband, father and grandfather (Poppy), went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Friday, August 7, 2015. David loved fast cars, swimming, the beach and oldies rock and roll. He enjoyed his job at Sprirt Aerosystems and didn’t plan to retire until he was 92. He was devoted to his family and friends and was an incredible people person. Everywhere he went he always found somebody to talk with. Visitation 5:00 – 7:00pm Monday, Broadway Mortuary. Funeral service 2:00pm Tuesday, First Baptist Church, Haysville, KS. Preceded in death by parents John and Shirley Elmore; father-in-law Denver Gipson and nephew Brian Gipson. Survivors include his wife Georgia; sons and families, Jonathan and Angela, Tyler and Caden, Jordan and Anisha, Mila and Jace and Joshua and Chelsea; mother-in-law, Alice Gipson; brother and family Dale, Carolyn and Nathan Elmore; brother-in-law Gary Gipson and nephew Chris Gipson.
