Darrel Campbell

Campbell, Darrel Lee, 71, retired postal worker, died Saturday, June 20, 2015. Funeral Service 10:00am, Thursday, Faith Christian Church. Graveside Services 12:30pm, Hunt Cemetery, Kingman, KS. Darrel graduated from Goddard High School in 1961. He married Jana on July 3, 1965 and was preparing to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. He worked for the post office until he took early retirement to care for his mother and grandson. Darrel enjoyed himself most when surrounded by his family and wanted them with him while camping, fishing, hunting and celebrating every holiday. He loved attending K-State football games with his son and watching his grandsons in every sport in which they participated. Darrel was a man of faith who put God first, closely followed by his wife and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Pearl Campbell. Darrel is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jana; daughter, Tammy Campbell; son and daughter-in-law Tim and Tami Campbell; grandsons Nathan Spears and Tanner Campbell; sister and brother-in-law Jolene and Pat Rooney and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
