Dan Moore

Daniel Bryan Moore, aged 64, residing in Wichita, Kansas, passed away on April 17, 2023. Daniel was born on June 11, 1958 and lived most of his life in Wichita, KS. He briefly moved to Texas, but ultimately returned to his hometown. He was married to Vickey Clark in 1978 and they together had two sons, Larry and Donald. They were divorced in 1985, and Danny married Cindy Carmack in 1987. That marriage produced Dianna, Chris, and Scott. They were later divorced. Daniel had ten grandkids: Alex and Oliver (Larry), Matt, Shelby, and Raiden (Donald), and Lucas, Emily, Mason, Colton, and Ethan (Dianna).

Daniel’s first job was working at the Starlite Drive-In Theater, which likely sparked his love of movies. He then worked at a family machine shop sharpening tools for the aircraft industry. He then worked for a couple of lawn and landscape businesses and eventually opened his own lawn and landscape business. Danny went to VoTech and was trained to run machining equipment. He worked for several machine shops and many years later was able to buy a machine shop of his own. During all that time he also continued to do lawn and landscaping work on the side.

Danny loved camping, fishing, skiing, going to the movies, Nascar, KU basketball, and the Kansas City Chiefs. He most enjoyed those hobbies when his kids were participating with him. He built a pool in the backyard in the last couple years as a way to enjoy time together close to home.
