Dalton Houle

August 14, 1998 — July 25, 2016

Dalton Chase Houle, friend to everyone and cousin to many, uncle, brother, and beloved son, was taken from this life July 25, 2016, to begin an eternity as a Florida State University fan in Heaven. Dalton was born at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, KS on August 14, 1998, to Tim and Tiffany Houle. Dalton would divide his time between his mother’s home in Wichita and Tim's in Florida. Anyone who knew Dalt, (as he was known to friends and family) or "Bubba" as his parents and sister referred to him, knew him as a lover of life. Dalt enjoyed countless activities both in school and out. He was a participating athlete in football, basketball, wrestling, and cheerleading at Northwest High School in Wichita. Dalt knew only the boundaries of his own passion. Never one to shy away from a challenge, one might find him kissing a girl he had met within 20 minutes (all for a dare of course), and another such instance found him at his aunt and uncle’s home to have his full head of hair shaved to a buzz cut. If you knew him you loved him. If you didn't know him he'd find a way to make you a friend in a matter of minutes. Dalton was a loving brother to Ashley, 10 years his senior and Jordan, 5 years his junior, in addition to being the godfather to Ashley’s daughter, Lea. Several close cousins and again countless friends will miss his infectious smile, dry wit, and determination to get out as much of life as he could only resting to reflect on the effort. Let's celebrate the life and not mourn the passing. Knowing Dalton, he'd want it that way.
