Dallas “Gayle” Tenbrook

Dallas Gayle Tenbrook, 67, Lead Pastor of Fellowship Church, passed away on January 2nd, 2025. Born on January 18th, 1957 in Wichita, Kansas, Gayle attended Southwest Baptist College and graduated from Wichita State University with degree in Education. He had a passion for Christ and ministering to people, serving in numerous pastoral positions for nearly 40 years at Immanuel Baptist Church, and as Lead Pastor at Fellowship Church in Rose Hill for the last 7 years. Gayle loved the Rose Hill community, serving as a reserve police officer, a board member on the Rose Hill Rec. Commission, a part of the local Chamber of Commerce, and a beloved substitute teacher for the Rose Hill school district. 

Gayle is survived by his wife, Cheryl Tenbrook; Son, Josh Tenbrook and wife Adele; and Daughter, Becca Kilts and husband Jon-Eric. He was the proud grandparent to Roman Tenbrook, Adelynn Tenbrook, Kysen Kilts, and Emery Kilts. He is also survived by his brothers Max and Ivan, and nieces Kristin, Anna and Jana.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Broadway Mortuary, 1147 S. Broadway. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1415 S. Topeka. A graveside service will follow immediately after at Rose Hill Cemetery, Rose Hill, KS. Send Memorials to: Fellowship Church, 2427 N. Crestline, Wichita, KS 67205.
