Clora Bess Strouse

Clora Bess Strouse, 95, retired USD 259 School Secretary and lifetime member of Glenn Park Christian Church, passed away September 1, 2021. Clora was born March 11, 1926 in Hallowell, KS to parents, George and Bess Canfield. She was a graduate of Columbus High School and attended Pasadena Community College. Clora was a devoted mother, sister, and grandmother (great, great great) and the foundation of the family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy D. Strouse; brothers, Maurice and Raymond; sisters, Lena and Maurine; and grandson, William “Scott” Bryant. Survivors include son, Kim (Ginnie) Strouse of Spring Hill, TN; daughter, Pamela (Gary) Orr of Wichita, KS; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
