Cleo Tucker

August 2, 1918 — November 3, 2015

Tucker, (Phoebe) Cleo, 97, passed away 11-3-2015. She was preceded in death by parents, William and Cora Grigsby; husband, Richard L. Tucker, Sr.; sister, Thelma; brother, Ralph Grigsby and wife Shirley and daughter Sharon Ball; and a son-in-law, Jack Wright. Survivors: Ric Tucker, Bil (Judy) Tucker, Rose Wright, Paul Tucker, and Sue (Ron) McCowan; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-greats, and nieces and nephews. Cleo worked at Beechcraft, Kansas State Bank, Union National Bank, Boeing, and KPTS. She was a Den Mother for Cub Scouts, a Mother Advisor for Rainbow Girls, an officer in the ABWA, a tutor thru Foster Grandparents, and a member of the Sheridan Songbirds. Her passions were her family, caring for her children and grandchildren, and making sure they knew about Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. She loved flowers, fall colors, birds, and scenic drives. A memorial service will be Sat., 11-21-2015 at 11:00 am at Botanical Gardens, Wichita, KS. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to benefit Chelsea Tucker.
