Charles Carriere

Carriere, Charles E., 80, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019. Charles started his employment career with Firestone/Good Year Tires in his birth state of Mississippi. He went on to work in retail management with Woolco, Target, Montgomery Wards, and finally Walmart, where he retired from in 2002. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emile and Christine Carriere. Survivors include his wife, Linda Carriere; children, Cherise Giesy (Terry) and Chuck Carriere (Nicki); brother, Emile Carrier, Jr.; grandchildren, Josh, Chelsea, Cherie, Cheyenne, Emily, Chad, and Kaycee; great-grandchildren, Xavier, Selene, Kinzly, and Zavieh. Visitation with family will be Thursday evening, May 9, 6-8 pm, at Broadway Mortuary, 1147 S. Broadway. Funeral Service, 1:30 pm, Friday, May 10, at First Baptist Church, 125 S. Delos, Haysville, KS. Committal Service will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Oatville, KS. Memorials have been established with First Baptist Church of Haysville and Heartland Hospice.
