His life was filled with cousins, nieces and nephews that he loved also.   He was a good friend to many.

Dad’s prayer and instruction was always, “God have mercy on the children, and the children’s children.”  Teach the children.

Proverbs 17:6

Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.

Ecclesiastes  7:1

A good name is better than precious ointment: and the day of death than the day of one’s birth.

             *********

Proverbs 20:6-7

Most men will proclaim every one his goodness: but a faithful man who can find?

The just man walketh in his integrity:  His children are blessed after him.
