Nichols, Brenda Jo, 77, loving wife, mother and grandma, passed away peacefully into heaven to spend eternity with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 20, 2018. She was born March 23, 1941 in Bronson, KS to Forrest and Margaret Stewart. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Tuesday at Broadway Mortuary with Funeral Service 10:00 am, Wednesday at Central Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest & Margaret Stewart. Survivors include her loving husband of more than 57 years, Don Nichols; daughter, DeAun (Steve) Hoy of Edmond, OK; son, Dane (Tammy) Nichols of Andover, KS; grandchildren, Emily (Clayton) Riehn, Patrick (Renay) Hoy, Joseph Nichols, and Justin Nichols; 4 great-grandchildren with two on the way; brother, Jim (Sharon) Stewart Fort Scott, KS; and many nieces, nephews, & cousins. Brenda was employed by Wichita Public Schools as a paraprofessional, a hostess at Riverside Cup of Tea, and a midwife assistant and Birth Home owner. She loved flowers, gardening and collecting antiques. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Central Christian Church Encouragers Class. Services by Broadway Mortuary.
