Betty Taft Stone , 95, Homemaker, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018 in Birmingham, AL. Visitation 9:30am, Funeral Service 10:30am, both at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, on Friday, June 8. Burial will follow at Kensington Gardens. Preceded in death by her husband, Johnny J. Stone; parents, Charles O. and Jewell Taft; sister, Peggy Marie Taft; and grandchild, Jason Taft Stone. She was active in many organizations, including Petroleum Wives and Geologist Wives, and volunteered at the Wichita Art Museum. Survivors include her son, Michael (Carol) Stone; daughter, Rebecca (Gene) Sallee; sister, Billie Houck; grandchildren, Michael G. Sallee, Jonathan (Melissa) Sallee, Zachary (Stacy) Stone, Kristina (Jayson) Curry and great-grandchildren, Ryan, Davis, Amina, Kaylan and Wesston.
