Betty Hawkins

Hawkins, Betty Jeane, born October 3, 1930 in Galena, Kansas, passed quietly in her sleep at her Wichita home on January 2, 2018. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother of 5 children, Richard, Michael (Jan), Patrick (Jane), John (Julie) McLaughlin and Tamela (Rob) Albright; 2 step children, 15 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren, and leaves behind her husband of 36 years, Delbert Hawkins. Betty loved the Lord and was active in her local Wichita church. She also loved her career in the banking and financial brokerage business. A graduate of the American Institute of Banking, she worked at the Wichita State Bank, KSB&T and World Savings. Funeral Services will be 10:30am, Monday, Crossroads Baptist Church, Wichita, KS. Graveside Service 2:30pm, Monday, Cedar Vale Cemetery, Cedar Vale, KS. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Union Rescue Mission of Wichita. Share condolences at www.CozineMemorial.com.
